Chairman’s Message

Omantel continued to deliver strong performance in 2025, with broad-based growth across our domestic operations and Zain Group. These results reflect the success of our diversified portfolio, the resilience of our core business, and the disciplined execution of our strategic priorities. Our domestic growth was fueled by sustained demand for our services, increased adoption of digital solutions, and ongoing expansion in ICT and wholesale capacity, while Zain Group continued to deliver impressive double-digit revenue and profit growth across key markets.

Respected Shareholders,

We are pleased to present to you a summary of the results of the operations for the year ended 31st December 2025.

In 2025, Omantel reaffirmed its position as Oman’s leading provider of telecommunications and technology solutions, advancing its evolution into a technology-enabled group under a clear strategic roadmap. We strengthened core connectivity and expanded digital capabilities in support of national digital transformation and knowledge-based diversification.

The Group delivered broad‑based revenue growth of 11.4%, reaching X 3,413.1 Mn., with increases across all operating markets.

Group Net Profit after tax increased by 87.6% to X 371 Mn., driven by improved EBITDA across operations.

Net profit Attributable to Shareholders of the Company for the period stands at X 88.4 Mn. compared to X 54.2 Mn. in restated 2024, an increase of 63.1%.

Earnings per Share also improved, further reflecting the robustness of our financial performance. In alignment with our commitment to shareholder value, we remain focused on maintaining our dividend policy of 55 baisas per share for this year.

Domestically, revenues grew by 8.6%, supported by resilient core telco services, continued strength in fixed revenue and in device sales, wholesale growth, and expanding demand for hosting and cloud services. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the Company from domestic operations stood at X 65.2 Mn., excluding the additional dividend from Zain Group.

Our credibility in the financial markets was further reinforced through Fitch Ratings upgrading Omantel to investment grade (BBB-) with a Stable Outlook, a testament to our solid financial profile and disciplined capital allocation.

Beyond financial performance, Omantel continued to take a leading role in advancing Oman’s digital and social development in line with the Oman Vision 2040. We continue to recognize that true progress lies in developing the nation’s human capital. In 2025, Omantel Academy empowered 142 young Omanis and issued 897 certifications across AI, data, and cybersecurity, while delivering more than 15 workshops to 1,283 participants nationwide. Additionally, Omantel remains committed to preparing future‑ready national talent and supporting Oman’s long‑term digital competitiveness by committing to provide 1,200 training opportunities and 500 job placements over the coming four years.

In 2025 Omantel delivered 25 CSR initiatives, investing X 750,000 and contributing 4,935 volunteering hours-reflecting our deep commitment to national progress.

Our initiatives focused on digital inclusion, education, healthcare innovation, women empowerment, environmental sustainability, and entrepreneurship. Key highlights include:

Technology-Enabled Healthcare and Community Wellbeing

  • AI Cancer Diagnosis Tool: AI-powered cancer diagnosis tool, benefiting more than 10,000 patients annually and improving early detection and diagnostic accuracy.
  • Autism National Center: Omantel contributed X 30,000 to the Ministry of Social Development to develop an Innovation Center at the National Autism Center, delivering technology-enabled development programs for over 2,200 children annually.)
  • Oman Charitable Organization (OCO): Omantel commitment of X 150,000 which is 20% of the total CSR Budget to the Oman Charitable Organization (OCO) as part of its ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
  • House Maintenance: The Company supported families with low income to live in healthy and safe homes by providing full house maintenance to houses with critical conditions that can cause hazard living in them. Omantel contributed X 115,000 through their collaboration with Dar Al Atta, benefiting 20 families.
  • Fak Kurbah Initiative: Fak Kurbah Donation Campaign: A humanitarian initiative in collaboration with the Omani Lawyers Association to contribute to the release of insolvents who are imprisoned due to their financial claim cases. The Company set aside X 10,000 for this initiative in 2025.

Education, Future Skills and Digital Empowerment

  • Sultan Qaboos University: In 2025, Omantel continued its commitment to advancing scientific research by promoting studies in the fields of ICT and nanotechnology, supporting national efforts to foster innovation and research in Oman, contributing X 60,000 in 2025. Furthermore, Omantel will continue its second-year support to Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) on the UNESCO Chair in Artificial Intelligence. This partnership aims to adopt AI technologies, conduct groundbreaking research, and organize conferences, seminars, and events focused on AI, with X 50,000 allocated to drive national leadership in ethical and applied AI.
  • Omantel Innovation Corner - the Children’s Public Library: Omantel is supporting the reactivation of Omantel’s Innovation Corner in the Children’s Public Library, which leverages interactive learning tools and cutting-edge technologies rooted in intelligent ICT solutions, benefiting more than 1,000 children annually.

These initiatives demonstrate our belief in technology as a catalyst for social progress, ensuring that the benefits of digital transformation reach all segments of society.

Operationally, 2025 was a transformative year as we continued advancing Omantel’s evolution into a technology-led group. We strengthened our core connectivity capabilities while accelerating growth in cloud, cybersecurity, wholesale, and digital platforms. Our strategic investment in Zain Group continued to enhance regional exposure and earnings diversification. Meanwhile, Zain Omantel International (ZOI) achieved remarkable progress, entering the global top 100 IP networks and ranking #1 in the Middle East, while doubling its revenues year-on-year to USD 401 Mn..

Innovation remains the backbone of our strategy. Through Omantel Innovation Labs, we continued nurturing startups and driving technological advancements for the fifth year. At the same time, our emerging-tech platforms are progressing towards commercial scale, expanding our reach into fintech and digital marketplaces.

Looking ahead to 2026, we will build on this momentum with the launch of Otech, our unified technology platform bringing together Oman Data Park and Tadoom to consolidate ICT, cloud, cybersecurity, and data center capabilities. This strategic integration will simplify our operating model, accelerate speed-to-market, unlock cross-platform synergies, and strengthen our ability to deliver large-scale national and regional digital projects.

As we continue to invest in future technologies, expand 5G coverage, scale our digital offerings, and pursue strategic partnerships, our priorities remain clear in driving innovation, enhancing operational efficiency, ensuring financial resilience, and delivering sustainable long-term value for our shareholders, customers, partners, and the communities we serve, guided by Vision 2040, and committed to advancing Oman’s digital future.
